朝阳岩正对着郡城的楼阁，
岩崖上瀑布高悬如练。
晨光将海日分隔开来，
碧绿的影子在江天间流转。
为取暖，鹤盘旋栖息于此，
迎着寒意，渔船聚集停靠。
次山题写红字的地方，
千古以来一直为人们传颂。

Before the county tower, the cliff face lies,
Where from the crag a waterfall descends.
The dawn light parts the sun from ocean skies,
And emerald shadows on the river bend.
Toward warmth, the cranes on perches coil and rest;
Against the cold, the fishing boats draw near.
Where Cishan's crimson verses were impressed,
Through endless years, to men they shall be dear.
