在江边相聚，偶然经过了十来天；
自己采摘园中的蔬菜，拂去炊具上的灰尘。
古老的桧树根深蒂固，官舍显得古旧；
凉风中的蝉鸣伴着露水，我这小官依旧清贫。
自那匹斑骓马离去后，我的情思无法排遣；
当紫燕飞回时，我的诗句又有了新的意境。
我将乘一叶扁舟向东漂流，等待秋深；
有菊花和芦叶相伴，定要挽留宾客。

By riverside we met and stayed ten days;
I plucked garden greens and dusted off the pot.
Old junipers root deep where ancient office stays;
Cool cicadas in wind and dew, the clerk's lot poor and bare.
Since the dappled steed left, my heart's in endless haze;
As purple swallows return, my verse grows fresh and fair.
A boat eastward I'll float, waiting for autumn's close;
With chrysanthemums and reed leaves, I'll detain my guest there.
