At Golden Gate, the Great Vehicle's truth is told.
Within the doctrine, records first were made,
Beyond the patriarchs, long no monk has strolled.
His robe, a patchwork of the land and streams,
His heart, a lamp that holds the sun and moon.
On South Lake's rain of flowers seat, it seems,
Who'll climb again after a decade's swoon?
