世间万事万物都随着时间推移而不断更新。
江南丞相的权势如浮云般消散败坏了，
洛阳先生的墓前树木却逢春而绿。
孟喜更改师法传承又有何妨呢？
京房又能在何处寻得自己的门人弟子？
往日我喜好读书，如今却懒得去读，
焚起香来，静观世事变幻，了此闲散之身。

All worldly affairs renew themselves with the changing times.
The southern minister's glory has faded like passing clouds,
While the northern master's tomb is greened by spring trees.
Why should Meng Xi be blamed for changing his master's way?
Where could Jing Fang find disciples to follow his own?
Once I delighted in reading, but now I am too lazy to read,
Burning incense, I observe the world and idle away my life.
