互相取胜，不费多少时辰。
幸好没有遇到像重霸那样的高手，
不妨像王献之那样随意落子。
仿佛晴空中突然散落冰雹，
惊动了隔壁的孩童。

We idly played the chess of Li Yuan, we two.
As onlookers, we shared a genuine smile,
Trading victories within a little while.
Luckily, we met no master stern and grand,
Why not play moves like Wang Xianzhi, free and bland?

Our game startled the child next door nearby.
