心神遨游于物象之外，似有似无。
灞桥风雪之中，清寂想必凄苦；
饭颗山头之上，人也消瘦伶仃。
敏捷地擒住碧海深处的鲸鱼，
追随大象的踪迹，从网中索得玄珠。
从尘世中解脱领悟天机的奥妙，
何必为一个字苦苦推敲，捻断胡须？

Dim and faint, lightly swirling like a painted scroll,
My spirit wanders beyond things, now here, now gone.
At Ba Bridge in the snow, pure yet bitter the soul;
On Fanke Mountain's peak, the man is gaunt and drawn.
Swiftly seizing the whale in the azure deep,
Following the elephant, the dark pearl from the net I reap.
From worldly dust, I grasp the wondrous heavenly key,
Why strain a single word till my beard I break with glee?
