车马轿舆都避让着火城。
彭城与黄楼争占着形胜之地，
汴水与泗水迫近，显得格外清澈。
梅花与柳枝感知的春意尚且浅淡，
关山之上的月亮却独自明亮。
我随着落笔赋写诗篇，
端的是又可叹可怜的人生。

Reed pipes and drums clamor in the lantern-lit fair;
Carriages and sedans avoid the fire-watch square.
Peng and Huang contend for the scenic land's delight;
Bian and Si rivers press men to keep them bright.
Plum and willow feel spring's touch still faint and light;
Over frontier mountains, the moon shines clear and white.
I write my verse as the brush follows my hand;
Truly, again, how pitiable is this strand!
