刚听到你到来的消息，
就已经开始为离别而忧愁。
急骤的雪似乎要将前路阻断，
寒冷的江水仿佛要停止流动。
再次相逢哪里是容易的事？
正因为此，我才特意为你稍作停留。

We shared our childhood years, our ages matched in rhyme.
As colleagues, we have passed another autumn's time.
No sooner had I heard the tidings of your stay,
Than parting's melancholy clouded me straightaway.
The sudden snow seems bent to block the road ahead,
The frigid river looks as if its flow had fled.
To meet again—how easily can that be won?
Thus for a brief delay, our meeting I have spun.
