又怎敢怨恨这迟来的十年。
岂肯犯下将'金银车'误写为'金根车'的谬误，
宁愿承受乳母的讥讽。
向来怀有的忧惧如今已然断绝，
但归隐鹿门的期许却未能完全实现。

Hastening, old, to answer the solemn call,
I walk slowly, meeting this sagely time after all.
How many words can I set right, being so plain?
Dare I resent the ten-year delay and complain?
Would I commit the error of miswriting 'golden root'?
Rather bear the wet nurse's ridicule, resolute.
My past fears and worries are now cut and gone,
Yet my hermit dreams in Lumen remain undone.
