朝廷的宫门近在咫尺，却仿佛远隔天涯；
我的一片丹心，白白地呈上了奏书。
如今就随着被贬谪的官员一同归去，
还要去往乡野人家的居所安身。
竹林里炊烟袅袅，雀鸟喧闹；
溪水边的沙洲上，鱼儿游动泛起涟漪。
在飞泉旁观察万物的本性，
我俯仰天地，自在而从容。

The imperial gate is but a step away, yet worlds apart;
My loyal heart has sent its plea in vain, a futile art.
Now I shall turn back with the exiled, my journey done,
And seek a rustic dwelling, under the same old sun.
In bamboo groves, smoke stirs as sparrows chirp and play;
By the stream's head, on sandy shoals, the fish dart and sway.
I watch the nature of all things by the flying spring—
At ease, I look up and down, with a contented swing.
