隐居在简朴中，我也感到欣然自得，省却了许多俗事。
在老屋之中，轻易就能写成一篇诗章。
安闲地步行权当乘车，蔬菜权当肉食。
以笔耕作如同用犁，纸张就是我的田地。
有幸生活在朱熹和陆九渊争鸣之后，
仍能追忆伏羲和周文王智慧未显之前的时代。
三位益友没有前来，山月泛着清白的光辉，
我卧躺着，倾听溪水诉说真正的道理。

Living in seclusion, I find peace in simplicity, content and serene.
In my old cottage, I easily compose a new verse, the scene between.
I walk unhurried as if in a carriage, vegetables suffice for meat.
With my pen I plow, paper as my field, where thoughts and harvests meet.
Fortunate to live after Zhu and Lu's philosophical debate had ceased,
I still recall the era before Fu Xi and King Wen's wisdom was released.
My three worthy friends are absent, the mountain moon shines pale and white,
Lying down, I listen to the stream expounding truth throughout the night.
