今晨鸟儿在晴光中嬉戏鸣啭。
光阴的形态变化是多幺迅速，
但天地本自保持着清明的本质。
我观察世间事，如同看新取的火种，
流逝的年华却让我畏惧那清冷的饴糖。
溪边棠梨花掩映着的坟墓，
长眠于此的先辈们，难道真的毫无感触吗？

Last night, the wind and rain clamored loud and clear,
This morning, birds are playing with the sunlit air.
How swiftly time transforms its shape and hue!
Yet heaven and earth remain pure and fair, as they ever do.
Observing the world, I see new fires ignite,
But fleeting years make me dread the cold, sweet bite.
By the creek, pear blossoms shade the graves in sight—
Could our departed elders be devoid of feeling quite?
