脱去旧衣，换上新装，成为金谷的宾客，
力量足以铲除蛟龙与白额猛虎。
家中豢养着飞驰如角的带翼骏马，
即便天下战乱纷扰，孩童也能获得此等本领。
才高而行动迅捷的人却长长叹息，
因为御前公卿没有权柄，挽回时局无力。
可意的人啊可意的人，本可与之同游避世，
但出门一看，实在遍布着众多盗跖般的匪徒。

Whose strength can slay the flood-dragon and the white-browed beast.
At home, he rears the winged steed with horn-like speed,
Even amidst the world's dust and strife, a child may gain such might.

For the royal minister lacks power, and his pull is frail.
A pleasing soul, a pleasing soul, with whom to roam and seek refuge,
Yet stepping out the door, truly thronged are the nine thousand bandits' feet.
