先生的死并非令尹的耻辱，
那四百户人家是无罪而哭泣。
三钟粟米，十捆柴薪，
是上天留下先生来昭雪楚地的冤狱。

Cold and hunger are trivial matters.
Why is someone holding a broom,
Disturbing my sleep in the snow?
The master's death was no disgrace to the magistrate;
Those four hundred families wept guiltlessly.
Three measures of grain, ten bundles of firewood—
Heaven spared the master to clear the Chu prison of injustice.
