尧帝时代的斑竹至今仍有斑纹。
昔日曾经游玩行乐的地方，
如今只存在于梦魂萦绕之间。
这座桥是我先父所建造，
不要说我在此涕泪潸然。

Of all the lands in Xiang, this county alone
Borders the wild streams where the Five Tribes have grown.
The Chu River's waves stretch in an endless blue hue,
And Yao's mottled bamboos still retain their old view.
The sites where I once roamed in joy and delight,
Now dwell in my dreams, coming forth in the night.
The bridge was built by my father, a venerable man—
Speak not of my tears, as they silently ran.
