朱氏一族都如同猪狗一般；
唐家上下尽是虎龙之才。
宏伟的图谋终成慷慨悲歌，
我将剑掷向那西风之中。

Passing by the willows at Hu Liu's slope,
One recalls the feats of war, deep in thought.
Clashing armies, a thousand riders met their end;
Blood dyed the whole river in a crimson hue.
The Zhu clan were but pigs and dogs, all of them;
The Tang house boasted tigers and dragons, every one.
My grand ambition turns to fervent lament now,
I cast my sword away, facing the western wind.
