眺望着关隘山川，令人感到疲倦；
心中追忆着曾经在天地间的漫游经历。
大地阻隔，与南海的联系仿佛被切断；
天空低垂，北斗星横斜在天际。
从高高的谯楼上，听到远处巡夜的梆子声；
孤枕难眠，独自挨过寒冷的更次。
形单影只，只堪自我凭吊；
在这异乡，很少有亲如兄弟的友人。

I gaze afar, weary of mountain passes and frontiers;
My mind recalls the journeys through the vast, celestial spheres.
The southern sea is severed by the land, a distant trace;
The sky hangs low, where the Northern Dipper lies across space.
From a high tower, I hear the distant watchman's clapper sound;
Alone upon my pillow, through the cold night-watches, bound.
My solitary shadow is fit only for lament;
In this strange land, few are the brothers on whom I've spent.
