我踏着木屐探寻幽深的景致，
拄着竹杖登上青翠的山尖。
山势高峻，秋日里更显清瘦；
瀑布细小，因微雨才略添水帘。
寺庙古老，僧人孤单稀少；
潭水幽深，庙宇祭祀庄严。
平生心怀寄情山水的志趣，
偏爱此地，愿结茅屋在檐前。

I tread the path to seek secluded scenes,
And climb the jade-green peak with staff in hand.
The mountain, high, looks thin in autumn's breeze;
The waterfall, small, gains from drizzles bland.
The temple's old, with monks but few and spare;
The pool is deep, where solemn rites are kept.
All my life I've loved the hills and vales with care,
And here I'd build my thatched hut, where I've slept.
