千年一遇的盛大典礼，展现祥瑞的宝图；
佩玉在方泽畔摇曳，光影萦绕回旋。
中天的明月护佑着黄琮玉器的色泽；
海上升腾的云霞，似赤帝的符命显现。
已看惯龟鼍呈现祥瑞之兆；
不再惊异于风雨为前行扫清道路。
侍臣自有如扬雄一般的赋文可作；
我这击壤而歌的鄙陋之人，又何妨自得其乐？

A grand rite, a thousand years, reveals the treasure chart,
Jade pendants by the marshy altar, their shadows twine and part.
The mid-heaven moon guards the hue of the yellow jade disc,
Over the sea, clouds surge, the Red Emperor's token to impart.
Accustomed now to turtles and alligators showing auspicious signs,
Undaunted by wind and rain, they clear the way ahead.
The attending minister has his own Yang Xiong's rhapsody to write,
Why should this rustic fellow, beating the soil, be misled?
