鬼神尚且能诉说《广陵散》的绝响，
人的才智却无法阻止大厦将倾。
太阳遵循天道运行，仿佛回归旧日的国度；
江潮与淮水之滨，淹没了新建的城池。
议论都城形胜，远不及考量百世的治乱；
有谁能替君王实现天下的太平？

Touching the past, discussing the present, a hundred feelings arise;
The rise and fall of different eras share the same true sentiment.
Even ghosts and spirits could tell of the lost Guangling Melody;
Yet talent and wisdom are helpless before a great mansion's collapse.
The sun's chariot, governed by heaven, returns to its old kingdom;
The river tides and Huai's shores overflow the newly built city.
Discussions of capitals cannot match the affairs of a hundred ages—
Who, then, will bring about peace and prosperity for our sovereign?
