在空中变得稀薄，化作雾气。
屋檐滴落的雨声透着寒意，
客居之人思绪萦绕着迟暮。
炎热的祝融仿佛就在昨日，
司秋的白帝却已更换了统治。
寒凉的声音伴随着络纬的鸣叫，
秋意悄然侵入了庭院的树木。
驾日的六龙疾驰其车驾，
岁月光阴不会为我们停留。
妻子儿女催促着准备冬衣，
从荒凉的城中传来捣衣的砧杵声。

In the sky, thinning into a mist.
The sound of rain from the eaves turns cold,
A traveler's heart broods on the coming dusk.
The God of Fire seems but yesterday's memory,
The White Emperor has already taken his turn to rule.
Chilly sounds accompany the chirping crickets,
Autumn's intent enters the courtyard trees.
The six dragons hasten their chariot's drive,
Time and years do not wait for us.
Wives and children urge the making of winter clothes,
From the desolate town, the sound of pounding laundry blocks is heard.
