论及才能，我难以胜任这官职。
为谋生计，勉强在此治理地方。
清晨起身，雨水落在南边的田亩上。
傍晚时分，凉风吹进北面的窗棂。
我幽深的情怀得以排遣和抒写。
全赖有这满满一缸酒啊。

The land is divided by the Sword Gate Pass, east and west.
The river splits into the Upper and Lower Yangtze.
My talent is too meager to fulfill my duties.
Drifting for sustenance, I reluctantly govern this land.
At dawn, I rise to rain falling on southern fields.
By evening, wind blows through my northern window.
My secluded feelings find solace and expression.
All thanks to the wine brimming in the jar.
