晨光惨淡，夹杂着天边稀薄的云霞，
寒冷的河水溅溅流淌，更远处是断桥横斜。
秋风吹落栗蓬，绽开如同紫玉般的果实，
烟雾笼罩着藤萝帷帐，叠映着青色的薄纱。
官署的考核已毕，三年任期就此完结，
客居他乡的道路漫长，深深叹息这万里遥途。
从此我将扬帆行舟，直下巴峡，
希望在新年到来时，能赶上未央宫的朝会。

The dawn light, bleak and drear, mingles with faint clouds in the sky,
The chill water splashes and flows past the broken bridge nearby.
The wind shakes chestnut burrs open, revealing purple gems so bright,
The mist veils the vine-curtained bower, layer upon layer of green light.
My official duties have ended after three full years of toil and test,
The traveler's road stretches far, lamenting the miles with no rest.
Henceforth, I'll sail my boat down through the gorges, swift and free,
To reach the New Year's court at Weiyang, where I long to be.
