怀玉山人若是问起我的消息，
我就在烂柯山下观看围棋。

Even the night crane and cold ape are filled with doubts.
The evening wind on the river will always hasten,
The white stones in the mountains suit me best.
The tide's rise and fall, the gulls foresee;
Flowers bloom and wither, unknown to butterflies.
Should the Hermit of Huaiyu ask after me,
I watch the game of Go beneath Rotten Axe Mountain.
