屈指数来六朝的往事，
我都不忍心登上这江边的城池。
燕子筑巢的地方已非旧日的宅邸，
野兔的洞穴遍布在诸多皇陵。
他们曾滔滔不绝地称王称霸，
如今只能令人叹息王朝的兴废。
青山依旧，龙虎般的英雄曾在此盘踞，
那象征王气的金精之气又已消散凝结。

I cannot bear to climb the riverside town.
Swallows' nests are not the old mansions there,
Rabbit burrows spread across the royal mounds.
Endlessly they boasted of kingly might,
Sighing, one feels the rise and fall of states.
Green hills where dragons and tigers once stayed,
The metallic aura now fades and congeals.
