一根藤蔓斜倚在墙壁，
六尺长的竹席铺在床上。
门扉掩上，人声寂静，
帘幕低垂，白昼的光景显得悠长。
盘腿打坐便度过整个夜晚，
确实没有辜负这座厅堂。

Incense drifts deep from the bamboo stove.
A single vine leans against the wall,
A six-foot mat is spread upon the bed.
The door is shut, human voices stilled,
The curtain hangs, the daylight lingers long.
Cross-legged I sit till night descends,
Truly, I do not betray this hall.
