战争的烟尘从眼中被洗去，
小舟穿行在乱石嶙峋的河道间。
若不是因为要远远地躲避战乱之地，
怎能有机会饱览这壮丽的山色？
江水被重重山崖围困，奔流湍急；
天空只剩一线，显得吝啬而狭窄。
人们都说三峡的险峻，
但这条水路也足以让人奋力攀登。

The dust of war is washed from my eyes;
My boat threads through a maze of jagged stones.
Had I not fled to this remote retreat,
How could I feast my gaze on these grand peaks?
The river, hemmed by cliffs, flows swift and urgent;
The sky, a narrow strip, seems grudgingly bestowed.
Men speak of the Three Gorges' perils,
Yet this path is worthy of the arduous climb.
