闻喜亭的名声自古流传，宽广的亭子俯瞰着汉水渡口。
高翘的飞檐超出万千屋宇，地处幽绝，没有一丝尘埃。
盘旋的道路与古老的城墙相映，远处的树林和村落轮廓清新。
静处时觉得耕田垂钓的生活更为优胜，幽静的环境适宜鸥鹭驯服地停留。
多亏了这荒远偏僻的郡县，有幸能容纳我这样质朴愚钝的人。
楼阁的铃铛在白天也常常寂静无声，书斋里酿的酒在寒冷时更加醇厚。
暂且殷勤地设下一樽酒，不要辜负了头上所戴的隐士巾。

The Pavilion of Heard Joy, famed since days of yore, / Stands by the Han River's shore, its broad eaves soar.
Flying rafters rise above a myriad roofs below, / A place removed from any worldly dust we know.
Winding paths by ancient battlements still wind, / Distant woods and village curves, fresh to the mind.
In stillness, farming and fishing seem the best, / A tranquil spot where gulls and egrets gently rest.
Thanks to this remote and rustic county's grace, / A simple, foolish man like me finds a place.
Tower bells by day are often hushed and still, / The study's brew grows richer with the chill.
Let's set a cup and diligently pour, / And not betray the cloth upon our brow we wore.
