橘园中果实青黄相间，星光映照着屋舍；
竹林修长挺拔，像长矛一样直插云霄。
纵然有千头柑橘，我也不羡慕你能享用它们；
但哪怕只有一天，我又怎能没有这位君子（指竹）呢？
为了建造茅草屋，我依循佛法的甘露；
想要带上藤席，洗净酒后残留的醉意。
我渴望来到这幽静之处，收摄心神，静坐回光；
阅历世事，真如同过眼的蚊虫一般。

The orange grove, half green, half gold, bathed in starlight, shines upon my house;
The tall bamboo grove, straight as spears, pierces the clouds.
A thousand heads of fruit—I do not envy you your feast;
But for a single day, could I be without this gentleman?
To build my thatched hut, I follow the Dharma's dew;
Wishing to bring a rattan mat, I wash away the lingering fumes of wine.
I long to come to this quiet place, turn back the light, and sit in meditation;
Reading the world is truly like watching mosquitoes pass before my eyes.
