A Zen mind sees through life and death,
A sickly body knows the weather's hold.
The cuckoo's cry cuts deep with sorrow,
Plum blossoms shine clear, a sight to behold.
Burning incense, I read the Book of Changes,
Suddenly feeling this body light and bold.
