青松没有俸禄，而花朵却有封地；
花王建立他的王国，在春风中享受宴飨。
他不念及那青松，曾是秦朝的大夫；
竹子君也嗤笑梅花兄是个聋子。
寒夜中愁苦吟诗，正感到思绪枯竭；
青灯唤人醒来，去补足残破的睡眠。
梦中化作蝴蝶，栖宿在花丛后又归来；
画角吹送香气，蒸透了素色的被子。

The green official has no stipend, while flowers are enfeoffed;
The Flower King founds his state, feasting on the spring breeze.
He cares not for the green official, the Qin dynasty's minister;
Lord Bamboo also scorns Brother Plum for being deaf.
In the cold night, sorrowful chants leave me truly thought-weary;
The dim lamp calls me to mend my broken sleep.
Dreaming I'm a butterfly, I lodge among the flowers and return;
The painted horn blows fragrance, steaming through the plain quilt.
