昔日我曾远游至东海，
遥望那通往仙宫庭院的曲折路径。
一棵孤树盘曲如同九条龙，
仿佛要用铁网将它们滤取。
纷纷扰扰，各种精怪降临，
利齿与甲壳相互争逐践踏。
珊瑚默默哭泣，沉入幽深的海底，
惆怅地遥望，却不被记载省察。
终究是笨拙的用途过于宏大，
空自坐看岁月年代飞速流逝。
寄言答谢那寥廓清虚的苍天，
龙宫中的典籍我尚未曾阅读。

Once I journeyed to the Eastern Sea,
Gazing afar at the winding path to the divine court.
A lone tree coiled like nine dragons,
As if to sift them with an iron net.
A riot of strange creatures descended,
Clashing teeth and scales, trampling in strife.
Coral weeps, sinking deep into gloom,
In vain longing, unrecorded, unknown.
In the end, my clumsy efforts proved vast yet futile,
Sitting idle as years and eras sped by.
I send word to the vast, empty heavens:
The dragon palace's texts remain unread.
