头颅沉重，好似春雪压顶；
心绪低沉，宛如暮云低垂。
蛇蜕下的皮壳悬挂在树枝上；
老虎翻越墙垣，留下蹄印。
遥远处，我哀怜那伯劳与燕子；
它们各自寻觅安身之地，一东一西。

The Yangtze and Han rivers have lost their mooring ropes and oars;
In the mountains and forests, one is trapped by thorns and brambles.
My head feels heavy as the spring snow;
My heart sinks low like the evening clouds.
A snake sheds its skin, hanging from a tree;
A tiger leaps over the wall, leaving its paw prints.
From afar, I pity the shrike and the swallow;
They seek refuge in different lands, east and west.
