破旧的帷帐埋葬尸骨，已历经多少春秋。
兽类之心尚且懂得以死报答主人，
人的面孔却甘心在生前侍奉仇敌。
为之立传，自当与豫让同列，
论其功绩，何止于留侯张良。
人世间已无人识得'义'字，
唯有写在荒丘马冢之上。

Buried in a worn curtain, its bones have passed many autumns.
A beast's heart still knew to die repaying its master,
Yet a human face would gladly serve the enemy in life.
Its biography deserves a place beside Yu Rang,
Its merit ranks no less than that of Marquis Liu.
In this world, no one understands the word 'loyalty',
Written upon this wild mound—the horse's burial mound.
