宽容之心极少，猜忌之心却很多。
背叛楚国，疑似自己倒戈，更增罪责。
羞于渡过乌江去依靠故老，
最终却乘着乌骓马，为爱姬哭泣。
一生自负气性，结局不过如此；
在大义上亏欠于人，又能争辩什幺呢？
莫要在山下唱那迎送之曲，
恐怕他会惊觉，以为是汉军的歌声。

Few are the tolerant hearts, but many are the jealous minds.
Turning against Chu, he seemed to add betrayal to his own reversed spear.
Ashamed to cross the Wu River, he relied on the old man;
Yet he rode the black steed, weeping for his fair lady.
A lifetime of proud defiance ends just like this;
How can one contend when great righteousness is compromised?
Do not sing the farewell song at the mountain's foot,
Lest he startle, thinking it's the Han army's tune.
