溪涧水涩，水流争抢着道路，
桑树已空，野草依托着残根生长。
断桥之处，老马掉头返回，

偶然遇到一位僧人，一同交谈，
归来时，屋里的人已掩上了门。

The stream struggles over stones, its course confined,

A broken bridge turns back an aging horse's way,

By chance, I converse with a monk, words hold sway,
Returning home, a man quietly shuts the door to end the day.
