划动兰木的船桨，溯流而上，驶向空阔的江天。
整理衣襟，端正坐姿，严肃地说道。
客人可知，天地之间，万物没有长久不变的。
唯有清风与明月，万古长存，用之不竭。
它们寄托于我们的耳目，成为动人的声音与景色。
客人欣然微笑，重新斟酒对饮，忽然间菜肴已尽，酒杯狼藉。

In the cool night, a skiff with friends he took, to roam the Red Cliff.
A gentle breeze arose, the waves lay still; they raised their cups and chanted verses for the guests.
White dew merged with the water's shimmering light.
Vast, boundless expanse, wind vast and free—soaring, as if detached from the mortal world, standing alone.
They plied orchid oars, rowing against the void's expanse.
He straightened his robe, sat solemnly, and thus began to speak:
My friends, know that between heaven and earth, nothing endures forever.
Only the clear wind and bright moon last, through all ages, never exhausted.
They lodge in our ears and eyes, as sound and hue.
The guests smiled, pleased, and poured more wine anew, till plates lay empty, cups in disarray.
